As a market trader, I have to say you are right on. In trading one is rewarded for persistence, experience and discipline.

I attended a lecture once given by the "Market Wizard" and great trader, Linda Raschke. There were a hundred attendees in the audience (all men by the way) and one asked her what books she read to help her trading. She answered "sports biographies."

Most everyone looked confused, but I don't think you would have been.
