THE TRADING STRATEGY

Short-term swing trading: When the NYMO turns up, it is time to buy stocks on the next open. When the NYMO turns down it is time to sell stocks on the next open.

Longer-term swing trading: When the NYSI turns up it is time to buy stocks on the next open. When the NYSI turns down, it is time to go to cash or to go short on the next open.

Most stocks move with the market.

2/14/2021 — End of the day…

Boo-hoo.

Had to close out the NYSI swing trade on today’s open as per the strategy above.

The gain was 15.3% on the long side in two trading days.

FYI: If one was so inclined to short it on the same signal it was worth a 6% scalp during the day.

Simple as that.

2/11/2021 —End of the day…

On the NYMO sell signal on the open today, AMC netted 19.5% in four trading days.

The NYSI signal is still in place but will be a sell on Monday’s open. The stock is up 15.2% in two trading days.
