7/27/2023 — Looking back…

Back on May10th Gov. Ron DeSantis and his rubber-stamp Republican state legislature began to try to destroy the economy of Florida when they passed and he signed the harshest anti-immigrant bill in the country.

Their immigration bill put in place felony penalties for undocumented workers, stripped them of many social services.

Beside undocumented worker who started getting the hell out of Florida, documented workers could see they were going to be hassled no matter what and have begun to flee also.

Many Florida employers, primarily in the agricultural and construction trade, have begun to scream that they have no works flat out.

These Republican fools in Florida may think they are “making America great again” but actually they are just dumb-dumb “Florida Men” going against what truly patriotic Americans have long-hailed as the “Nation of Immigrants.”

Needless to say, it completely pisses me off.

Regardless, there is money to be made off MAGA stupidity.

The BUD trade, now riding a breakeven stop (which makes it a free trade) is up nearly 10% making it a buy-and-hold investment.

Which brings us to Orange Juice futures…

$OJU23, which is now the talk of the commodity markets as it keeps running up — eight days and accelerating.

Who could not see that coming? Oh, yeah…the dumb-dumb Governor of Florida bent on creating, what one CEO of a great American corporation called a “toxic business environment” in the state.

It’s still going to be a while before the ordinary everyday citizens of Florida feel the pain of agriculture crops rotting in the fields and on the trees, construction projects standing incomplete and idle becoming blight, and finally tourists finding somewhere else to take their money.

When it comes I for one hope the pain is excruciating enough for Florida voters to finally snap awake from their nightmare and get rid of all these guys in office.

The gray box on the chart below marks the time this anti-immigration law was put in place, like I said…making Orange Juice a no-brainer trade courtesy of the Florida brainless.

P.S. I see I failed to mention that Ron DeSantis, who Donald Trump likes to call “Meatball” Ron as well various other nasty nicknames, is running for President promising to inflict the on-coming Florida economic and social nightmare on the rest of the country.
