Maybe this nitpick but, besides the stop loss, there is also the sell at the end of the day. Never hold over night. There is far too much risk.

Lately I've also been working with locking the 100% day trading profit target after experiencing several sell offs during the day that wiped out plus 100% profits. That's been working well. It always feels great having a 100% gain locked into your account.
