Thanks for the comment. I am so pleased it is working for you since that is the sole reason I decided to make these post public (they started out as only a trading strategy journal for me alone). Gaps are stress. and probably the main reason there are so many fake-outs at the start of the day, but there is nothing to do about them (or at least I don't know anything to do about them) so yes, going off the open is the primary trigger.
