They say buying options is a “fool’s game.” So let’s say right off — they are wrong about that.

11/24/2021 — UPDATED after the close

Update: the 465CCALL, expiring Friday, closed the day trade up 124% (see the updated chart below), $1,245 per $1,000 put in play.

11/24/2021 — During the day

Another day, another 100% gain on the SPY options day trade as per the strategy suggested here.

The ITM 465CALL, expiring today, has gained more than 100%. on a LOD buy signal (see the chart).

The white flag on the right axis marks the dollar/percentage gain per each $1,000 traded in each of the trades.

11/22/2021 — End of the day

What is the meaning of a “Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang” in my options trading world?

As I’ve said before, enough times to make this strategy worth a dance in the street.

I call days like this — in a nod to the Shane Black movie which took its title from a Pauline Kael book — “Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang” days. SPY kissed both its puts and its calls and went bang bang for at least 100% plus gains on both.

The 470CALL, expiring today, kissed and banged for more than a 100% gain right off the open (see the upper chart below)…
